Warner Bros. announced Tuesday that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will resume their famous roles for a fourth film “Matrix”.
Lana Wachowski, co-creator of the world of The Matrix, celebrating her twentieth birthday, will write, direct and produce the new film.
The ad brings more questions, such as the plot for the new movie, a release date or the beginning of the film’s production. Warner Bros. do not comment on it at this time.
The three previous films – “The Matrix” (1999), “The Matrix Reloaded” (2003) and “The Matrix Revolutions” (2003) – earned more than $ 1.6 billion at the global box office.
Trinity died in Neo’s arms at the end of “Matrix Revolutions” before Neo finally succumbed to wounds destroying the wicked Smith (Hugo Weaving).
